Hubertus Solingen Stag Nachsuchemesser Searcher Knife Saufänger Hunting Knife

Tradition is quite evident in the Hubertus-Solingen Stag Nachsuchemesser.  This "Searcher" knife is brand new from Solingen, Germany.  These knives have long been used to find and quickly dispatch large, downed game.  Often called pig-sticker, or bear-killer, these blades mean business.

This Nachsuchemesser is very impressive at 12-1/4" in overall length with an 7-1/4" blade.  The knife alone weighs a 12.5 ounces.  The 1/8" thick stainless steel blade has a long, recurve fine cutting edge.  The top edge is sharpened approximately 2" to aid in the penetration of even the thickest winter fur.  It is heavier at the tip and tapers back toward the hilt.  The massive trigger style guard is made of highly polished nickel silver.  This full tang knife features nice, genuine stag handle scales and a large diameter lanyard hole.  A nice quality leather belt sheath is included with a silent brass pin and hole strap.
