Product Description
Fox Knives brings back the famous Fairbairn Sykes Combat Dagger. The FX-592WAF Commando Dagger is designed by Hill Knives and is based on the 1941 British Special Forces knife.
The FX-592 WAF is 11.8" overall with a 6.7" slender, double edged, dagger ground blade of black PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coated N690Co stainless steel, HRC 58-60. The handle is genuine Walnut wood with milled rings in the classic Fairbairn Sykes design with a black stainless double guard.
Included is a top quality leather belt sheath.
The FX-592WAF is made in Italy. Here is a historic classic, still ready for combat. KnifeCommand.com is an authorized Fox Knives dealer.

A Decent Dagger
Well, what I can say about this Fox knife is that it should be considered a spike more than a dagger, though it is obviously imitating a dagger. The problem is this: the leather sheath dulls the blade when the dagger is being put away and sheathed even after sharpening. The metal is so soft that it will actually become dull in the aforementioned way. It gets stars for its historical accuracy. I use it as a display knife only. This is my third Fox knife. It penetrates, but doesn't cut. If I may say, I believe the Fox Marine Dagger or the Fox Arditi Zyrocote, as they don't suffer from the apparent oversight in the Fox Fairbairn-Sykes leather sheath.
