Boker Knives in Solingen tasked themselves to make the ultimate fixed blade in terms of quality, affordability, and versatility. The result is the Bronco. Seemingly simple in design, but excessively researched and tested. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.
The Bronco measures 9-1/8" overall and has a 4.5" blade. The .133" thick blade is forged from Crucible Industries CPM-3V stainless steel and has a nice satin finish. This full tang knife features a textured TPE - thermoplastic elastomer handle. A slightly exposed butt tang allows for smashing or hammering with a log. For carrying, the BFF comes with a black leather dangle sheath. The dangle can be removed for carrying higher up on the belt. The sheath also holds the included Light My Fire firestarter.
There is a ton of stuff you can read about the blade steel, the grind, the handle, the sheath. Suffice it to say that Boker has made a terrific fixed blade knife. The Bronco has universal and optimal usability for all professional outdoor users such as bushcrafters, campcrafters, survivalists, cross-country hikers, hunters, SAR teams and others. The Bronco is made in Solingen, Germany and is brought to you by Knife Command.
