Product Description
The Eickhorn Solingen KM 1000 Combat knife. Affordable, reliable
The KM1000 is approximately 12" in overall length with a 6-3/4" blade. The non-glare, satin finished blade is forged from corrosion free 1.4110 steel (HRC 56). The blade is a tanto design with a fine cutting edge along with 2-5/8" of laser cut serrations. Each knife is individually serial numbered. The maintenance free, ergonomically designed black all weather handle grip is made to MIL specifications. It is a glass-fiber reinforced polyamide handle with an exposed tang at handle end for glass breaking.
The black polyamide sheath with has a strap on the back which enables it to be adapted for all US MOLLE and German IDZ carrying systems of the German Bundeswehr. There is also a diamond sharpening surface on mounted on the sheath.
The km 1000 is made in Solingen, Germany. KnifeCommand.com is an authorized Eickhorn Solingen dealer.

Beast of a knife!
First impression :High quality tool received in great condition.
The sheath does scratch (micro) the blade as expected from reviews but as a work horse this doesn't matter to me at all. Best knife in this price range??
